The seaside weekend is officially underway. How should you prepare? What should not be missing from your beach bag? Here are our tips for the best beach bag!
A beach bag should be able to carry everything on a hot day at the beach. What should never be missed? You have probably forgotten some of your most essential accessories at one time or another. Don’t panic!
On this page, you will find a list of things you need to have a relaxing time.
What You Need
Often, beach bags are filled with so many things that the essentials for relaxing on the beach are neglected. First, don’t forget your beach towel. This may be a minor suggestion, but have you ever been in a hurry and forgotten it?
Here, the first must-have items you should have in your bag are your towel and sunscreen. It would be helpful to distinguish between sunscreen for the body and the face. Never go below high protection (SPF 50), especially for the face and vulnerable areas. For the body, you may have lower protection if desired.
Useful Items
Once you’ve kept your beach towel and sunscreen in the bag, you must pack a change of clothes, both swimsuit, and clothing. This always comes in handy, especially for last-minute program changes such as aperitifs, discos on the beach, or foam parties with friends. Bringing a change of clothes is a good idea.
And not only that, but you should also bring a bottle of water, especially if you plan to be in the sun for hours. There are indeed bars and kiosks along the beach, but if you happen to spend the day in a hidden cove, far from the well-equipped tourist areas, organizing water and food supplies is social security. Always carry fresh drinks with you, and be sure to consume fruits rich in vitamins and minerals.
Be Prepared for the Unexpected
Flip-flops are not always a comfortable alternative. Since you may be going to a beach full of pebbles and rocks, rubber shoes for the sea should not be underestimated.
Also, although it is not widely known, it is fundamental to equip yourself with anti-friction products, especially for those with rubbing thighs. In addition to shorts, many remedies are available, including those that can be applied to the affected area (roll-on types are better for the beach) and those that allow you to walk on the beach without injuring yourself.
Another helpful item to include in your beach bag is a handbag, perfect for eating delicious ice cream on the beach, or a plastic bag to keep your most delicate items dry. Make sure to have waterproof cases for cell phones too, as they are resistant to sand and salt.
For Relaxation
Finally, you should have a selection of items to make your relaxation time more magical. Puzzle week or crossword? (don’t forget your pen!). Some people like to spend time in the company of a good book. In these cases, if you want to travel light and have a wide selection of titles, an e-reader may be the right choice. Comfort, practicality, and lightness!
- Headphones for listening to music while tanning are also essential.
- Don’t forget to bring hand sanitizer gel and wet wipes to disinfect your hands, things, and bed.
Food Storage Containers
Food preparation is an absolute must if you want to make the most of your time at the beach (and your budget). Food containers are a great way to store snacks in your beach bag and keep the sand out. They also often come in two compartments so you can easily separate fruits, vegetables, and other healthy snacks.
